I am honored to have been asked to speak at the beautiful and prestigious St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco during their Wednesday luncheon on August 21, 2019.  The Club is located on Marina Blvd. right on the San Francisco Bay with incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge.  What a delightful way to spend a Wednesday in August.

I will be talking of course, about “Dearest Minnie, a Sailor’s Story“.  So few  know much about Teddy Roosevelt’s Great White Fleet and their 14-month cruise .  It is always a pleasure to be able to enlighten people and  to present some of the wonderful postcards created during that  special event.   It promises to be a very enjoyable afternoon.
