Welcome to 2019
I am a bit late with my ‘welcome’ and did not spend time in January promoting my books. I needed a break but I am now ready to surge ahead.
Tuesday, March 12th I will be giving a talk and Power-point presentation to OCLI, (Oregon Coast Learning Institute) close to Lincoln City. I always enjoy giving presentations about my book, Dearest Minnie. It is such a unique and obscure piece of history told with colorful postcards for that event.
My second book, That’s Just the Way Life Is, is a bit harder to present. The audience is so important in any presentation but particularly this book. Besides giving suggestions for caregivers, it details the dying process of a man with prostate cancer. Giving talks with organizations filled with men is not a way to promote this book. This belongs with health care providers, family and friends of a terminal ill person. I will work on it.
I am doing yet another edit on The Forgotten Artist. Now that is going to be an exciting book—almost finished. More about this latest book next time.
