The Forgotten Artist
March is Women’s History Month. As far as I am concerned this is Evylena Nunn Miller’s month. Born on July 4, 1888, she became a great teacher and artist. This was a time when women were to stay at home to raise vegetables and children. Instead Evylena followed her passion, painting hundreds of canvasses, giving many away to friends, family and organizations, and helping women to be viewed as equals with male artists. Her story, The Forgotten Artist, will be available later this summer for purchase. Stay Tuned.

Leslie, Have you written about Evelyna? Judith Hirsch
Yes, the story about my great aunt, Evylena Nunn Miller with photos will be out later this summer; I am thrilled!
Hi, So thrilled you have written this book! I called her my proxy Aunt, she was friends of the family, and close friends with Lulu Dunham, my grandmother from Coffeeville, Kansas. Would love to be in touch with you. Jill Kleiss
