What a delightful time I had on Tuesday, March 12th at the Oregon Coast Learning Institute in Gleneden Beach, Oregon. I spoke to a crowd of about 40 people on one of my favorite subjects: Teddy Roosevelt’s Great White Fleet.

I so enjoy presenting this topic with the many postcards I have inherited and collected to people who know very little about this subject. I always encounter a welcoming group of people and this time was no exception. I enjoyed meeting everyone during a delicious lunch. And–I am looking forward to presenting my second book, That’s Just the Way Life Is, to this same organization in October and returning to this beautiful area.
