Compton’s book is about the 1907-1909 world tour of the the US “Great White Fleet” — Teddy Roosevelt sent the US fleet -16 battleships – from Hampton Roads for an around the world good-will tour.  Learn about this historic event through the eyes of an enlisted sailor. Historically accurate and based on true events; includes over 200 full color postcards.
